Dan & Emily Swaim – MARRIED! // Washington DC Wedding

Dan and Emily are such a sweet and flirty couple! I loved spending my Saturday with them in the heart of Washington, right at our Nations Capitol! They first met on a uniquely named dating app called “Coffee Meets Bagel” and met at a local tapas bar where they laughed and talked the night away! Notice how they had coffee and bagels at their wedding, how cute! Emily had such a gorgeous, simple dress that was flirty and full of amazing lace details. The talented team at Best Face Artists did her timeless and romantic hair and makeup for her special day! I had so much fun photographing the neutral and classic details of the day! They said “I do” on the roof of a building located right outside of the Capitol, so we got amazing views! The venue, Capitol View at 400, was spectacular! I loved the views and we had amazing weather! Their colors were gorgeous hues of blue, green, and blush peachy pinks, some of my favorite combos! After they said “I do” we ventured out to the streets of DC where we were greeted with many honks and hollers, congratulating this beautiful couple! We didn’t have to explore long before we found an amazing cluster of Japanese Cherry Blossom trees, and it was perfect because we were right in the middle of peak blossom! Emily and Dan are naturals in front of my camera, and it was such a pleasure photographing them! Back on the rooftop, we heard heartwarming speeches from her recently deployed sister and friends, then we ate amazing food by Main Event Caterers, and danced the night away!
