What are little boys made of? Frogs and snails, and puppy dog tails.
That’s what little boys are made of.

Jake is our chocolate lab, our 95lb, mellow [for a lab at least] playful 4 year old puppy! And he also happens to be Owens best friend, ever! Now that Owen is getting older, he is really starting to care for Jake on his own. He tries to walk him, he gives him food every day, snacks, plays ball with him, and tries to fill his water bowl [without much success lol] When my husband started talking about getting a lab I was SO against it. I mean who wants a crazy hyper loud reckless shedding dog that never grows up?? LOL! He won though, and Jake really is the BEST dog anyone could ask for. Sure he gets into the garbage, has an accident here and there, and stinks up the whole house about twice a week, but he is ours, and most important he is Owens best friend!! The most loyal dog anyone could ask for! When Owen was a baby, sitting in his bouncer, Jake would rest his head on him, and lay his ball on Owens lap lol! We also have a chihuahua named Lucy, but she isnt really the social type, haha! She likes to sleep, and sometimes will wake up to eat and get some sunshine. She may make an appearance in these pictures too! I’m going to share a few from when Jake was a pup, to when Owen and his friendship first started – a nice trip down memory lane!! 😉 enjoy!!
